Who we are

Our website address is: https://TheTorahhouse.com

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

If you sign up for our blogs, WordPress will retain your email address to send you notices. We have access to your name and email, when you comment, but we do not harvest those for any commercial purpose. If you sign up for our email newsletter or sign up to become a partner to The Torah House Global Prayer Network, we only collect data relevant to your subscription.

Submission of Words/Dreams/Vision

When visitors complete an online form to submit a word, dream, or vision to us via the online submission form, we will screen them and they may or may not be published on the website page at our discretion. The online google form collects the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Contact forms

If you sign up for our email list, you will receive an occasional email about The Torah House news, information and prayer. We only collect the data relevant to your email subscription.

Your email address is collected and stored on the server of the company who hosts our newsletters. Currently that is MailChimp.

Every newsletter has an Unsubscribe link clearly visible at the bottom. Your use of that button will delete your email address from the database we have access to on MailChimp which is the service we use.
We have no control over what they do with your email address, other than sending our newsletters to you.

If you sign up to become a partner to The Torah House Global prayer initiative, by completing the online google form, we will only use this data to list you as one of the Torah House partners for this Global iniative. Your name will be added to our Mailchimp list of leaders/coordinators, so we can stay in touch with you. We will not sell or share your contact information with any other third party.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, and SoundCloud,). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that become members on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

1) We do not sell your information to any third parties. Ever.

2) We sometimes DO advertise through Facebook and the audiences they develop. We are not responsible for how they gather their information.

3) We use Google Analytics to track the flow of traffic into and through our website. We cannot speak to what they do with the data they collect.

4) If there are specific questions you have, that are not covered here, you are free to contact us at:
