Anti-Semitism Has Become a Global Tsunami! PRAY!

The Writing is on the Wall!

by Stephen Spykerman

A Canadian man with an Israeli flag was beaten with a stick in the Montreal area on Israeli Independence Day. Sadly this is by no means an unusual incident. According to the 2021 Antisemitism Report by the Center for The Study of Contemporary European Jewry at Tel Aviv University, there has been a sharp rise in antisemitism in the United States, Canada, the UK, Germany and Australia. Another report put out by ADL reveals  the surging number of anti-Semitic attacks across the United States. Last year there were 2,717 anti-Semitic attacks, including 88 assaults, an increase of 167 percent from the previous year. In New York City alone, incidents arose by 24 percent; the highest amount in decades.

WATCH: NY ‘day of rage’ openly calls for intifada, destruction of Israel, release of Palestinian terrorists (World Israel News, January 23, 2023)

Anti-Israel organizations Samidoun and Within Our Lifetime, this week held a ‘Day of Rage’ in NYC’s Grand Central Station calling for the release of two Palestinian terrorists: PFLP leader Amad Sa’adat, serving a 30-year life sentence for the assassination of an Israeli cabinet minister, and Amad Manasra, serving a sentence for the attempted murder of an Israeli teen.

The rally openly called for a global intifada to facilitate the destruction of Israel, to be replaced by a Palestinian State from the river to the sea.

Anti-Semitic incidents come in 3 main categories:

  1. Harassment
  2. Vandalism
  3. Violence

While harassment continues to be the most common form of antisemitism experienced in the west, violence, and vandalism are on the increase.

A Whopping Majority of Americans Believes in Antisemitic Tropes, New Poll Finds (The Jewish Voice, February 20, 2023)

85 percent of Americans, as many as 285 million people, believe in one anti-Jewish trope.

The number of Americans who believe antisemitic tropes and conspiracy theories has doubled since 2019, a poll by the Anti-Defamation League found. 85 percent of Americans, as many as 285 million people, believe in at least one anti-Jewish trope, as opposed to 61 percent in 2019. 20 percent of Americans believe six or more tropes, up from 11 percent in 2019 the highest rate since the early 1990s. “Those of us on the front lines have expected such results for a while now – and yet the data are still stunning and sobering; there is an alarming increase in antisemitic views and hatred across nearly every metric – at levels unseen for decades,” said ADL CEO Jonathan A. Greenblatt,

“From Pittsburgh to Charlottesville to the near-daily harassment of Jews in our greatest cities, anti-semitic beliefs lead to violence. I hope this survey is a wake-up call to the entire country,” he said.

26% believe Jews have “too much power in the business world,”

21% believe that Jews “don’t care about anybody other than themselves,”

20% believe Jews “are more willing than others to use shady practices to get what they want.”

53% believe that Jews will go out of their way to hire other Jews.

39% believe that Jews are more loyal to Israel than the U.S.

23% believe that Israel gets away with anything and controls the media, and 18% say they are not comfortable spending time with a pro-Israel person.

Researchers found a substantive correlation between belief in anti-Jewish tropes and anti-Israel sentiment across all respondents. “These anti-Israel beliefs are not a commentary on Israeli government policies,” Greenblatt said. “They are antisemitism in another form.”

The survey was conducted between September and October 2022 – before the new Israeli government was elected in the November 1 elections – among a representative example of more than 4,000 US adults.

After Biden Sent 1 Billion to the PLO, Israeli Deaths Rose by 900% – JNS News Service (JNS News, Feb 15, 2023)

 Antony Blinken met with PLO leader Mahmoud Abbas last month, he boasted of the over one billion dollars in aid that the Biden administration had programmed for the terrorist territories. That aid has come with a very heavy price.

In April 2021, the Biden administration restored aid to the PLO. Terror incidents, reflecting attack attempts, shot up sharply, from 91 in February and 89 in March to 130 in April.

By May, major fighting had resumed, with 13 Israelis, including two children, killed.

By the time the year was over, 17 people in Israeli areas had been killed. The over 400% increase in deaths was only the beginning. In 2022, 31 Israelis or people in Israeli areas were killed, up from only three in 2020, for a massive 900% increase in casualties since the restoration of foreign aid to the terrorists. This was the worst death toll since 2015 under Obama.

ESCALATING ANTI-SEMITISM IN THE SCHOOL SYSTEM

The uncomfortable truth is that a distinct antisemitic ideology is putting down roots in the west’s education systems. Convinced ideologues spread their antisemitic messages via the Internet, and social media. In an age where youth are heavily reliant on websites and all the various media platforms, our young college-age kids have become easy prey.

CAMPUS HATE

All over the United States & Canada, the ugly phenomenon of Campus Hate has reared its ugly head. The virus of campus hate has gone coast to coast and is directed at Jewish students who are faced with antisemitism on university campuses stemming both from the far-right and the far-left of the political spectrum. Perpetrators are rarely held to account. The same anti-semitic spirit is sweeping through the campuses of the U.K., France, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.

JEW HATE AT AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES (By Richard Kemp, Jan.11, 2023)

As Jews were hounded out of German universities in the 1930s, where would you have stood? Many of us would like to think we would have found the moral and if necessary physical courage to stand up for our fellow students rather than see them persecuted, bullied, abused and thrown out. Well, now we can actually put our courage to the test as before our eyes we see a re-run of an almost identical pattern of antisemitism — this time at American colleges, with a similar picture at universities in Britain and elsewhere in the West.

A new study by the antisemitism watchdog Amcha Initiative documents a pervasive, relentless assault on Jewish identity at US universities.

[The Amcha] report paints a stark picture of an increasing, intensifying, and carefully coordinated campaign of attacks on Jewish identity at over 60% of the colleges and universities that are popular with Jews, including 2,000 incidents intended to harm students since 2015.

These activists demand an end to Zionism, which…means just one thing: an end to the democratic State of Israel. This in itself is antisemitism in any book and is pointed out as such in the US State Department’s definition of antisemitism.

Despite expending so much energy against their fellow students, German Gentiles had plenty left for their Jewish professors. Unsatisfied with Nazi race regulations restricting Jewish faculty, students boycotted the classes of those who were exempt under the race laws and pressured the university authorities to dismiss them. The result was that every Jewish professor who was still legally allowed to teach had resigned by i935.

The Amcha report characterizes the situation on US campuses today as a crisis for American Jews.  It is much more than that. It is a crisis for us all that one section of our student body is bullied, abused, intimidated, and cast down by their fellow students and often abandoned by their professors and faculty authorities. Will we rise to defend our Jewish brethren in their persecution or will we sit back and silently wring our hands as before? Perhaps we should follow the example of Hans and Sophie Scholl and their fellows in the “White Rose”, a student resistance group, who in 1940 stood up and spoke out against Nazi tyranny and the persecution of Jews. Their fate was the guillotine.

A 2021 poll from the Louis Brandeis Centre for Human Rights under Law shows college students with a strong sense of Jewish identity and connection to Israel have learned that to avoid antisemitism they must view their religion as something to hide, not celebrate. According to the Brandeis Centre: “Nearly 70% of the students surveyed, personally experienced or were familiar with an anti-semitic attack in the previous 120 days. More than 65% of these students have felt unsafe on campus due to physical or verbal attacks, with one in 10 reporting they have feared they would be physically attacked. And roughly 50% of students have felt the need to hide their Jewish identity.”

It is neither an exaggeration nor hyperbole to say that the sustained campaign against Jews at US universities in the 21st Century could have been modeled on Jew-hate at German universities in the 1930s.

It is a popular belief that the total exclusion of Jewish students and faculty at German universities by late 1938 was the work of the Nazi government bureaucracy and therefore an entirely different phenomenon that should not be compared to antisemitism on American campuses today. Uncomfortably for many, that is not true.

In reality, German non-Jewish students, who had pioneered antisemitism on campus before 1933, not the government, led the charge against their Jewish fellow students in the early Nazi years, bullying and intimidating them and pressuring the authorities to expel them. In other words, virtually the same phenomenon as we see in America today and elsewhere in the West. A German student journalist at the time wrote that students themselves made an important contribution to the creation of the Nazi university in the Third Reich. Hate Crimes Against Jews in Los Angeles

A recent LPD report from Los Angeles showed that Jews were ‘overwhelmingly’ targeted in religiously motivated hate crimes, representing 74% of those cases. Consequently, they are forced to run extra patrols in the predominantly Jewish districts’ of the greater Los Angeles area. I know for a fact the same is the case in London, Paris, and Berlin.

Israeli Hillel Fuld’s Controversial Warning to American Jews: Get out Now!

I would like to quote extracts from an article by Hillel Fuld.  He is a top Israeli top marketer, a leading journalist, a tech advisor, online influencer, and expert on Israel’s innovation. And I quote:

Israel is home, and no matter what, we will always be here welcoming you with open arms.

The Jewish people outside Israel must step back and examine their reality! Too many things are happening at once that point to the fact that the s**t is about to hit the fan. This isn’t new. It’s been going on for years, escalation after escalation. But over the past few months, it’s reached the point of no return. It’s just too much to ignore.

Antisemitism on Twitter is nothing new. Far from it, and if you’re on Twitter, maybe you’ve experienced it. Just to illustrate how bad it is: on every Yom Hazikaron (Memorial Day) since my brother Ari was murdered, I get endless repulsive tweets. To name one of the hundreds, someone on Twitter sent me a picture of Ari with flames coming out of him and blood everywhere. The image was captioned, “May he rest in piss!”

So, antisemitism is not new. It’s been here for centuries. Antisemitism online is also not new. But until recently, it was frowned upon and was not part of the mainstream.

Then came the anti-Semitism in Congress. The famous “Squad,” whose members like to disguise their Jew-hatred by calling it anti-Zionism. Let’s just pause here for a moment.

Saying that anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism is a ridiculous claim. Can one criticize the Israeli government and its policies without being anti-Semitic? Of course! Yet, can someone deny the validity of Zionism, which is the belief that after thousands of years, the Jews deserve to come home to their homeland, without being anti-Semitic?

No, just no. You cannot claim the Jews don’t deserve a home without hating Jews. Period! Full stop! End of story. So, now there is full-blown anti-Semitism in Congress. But the Squad is not viewed as mainstream and has little influence. What is happening is insidious in its effect.

Then there is geopolitics.

Israel – “the Apartheid State.” What people don’t realize is the real danger is not from the people who are spreading such lies. The real danger is the people who know zero about Israel. They keep hearing these lies over and over again. Smart people spreading absolute lies about Israel. Millions of people know nothing about this spectacular country other than what they see on Twitter, on CNN, at the U.N. and in Congress, as well as on the BBC in the U.K., and the myriads of left-wing oriented media outlets throughout much of the world. (End of Hillel Fulds comments)

Below is a recent Twitter thread from Hillel:

By far the biggest source of antisemitic lies needs to be laid at the foot of the PLO terrorist organization under Yasser Arafat and his successors in the Palestinian Authority, and let’s not forget their murderous terrorist friends in Gaza. Their lies, coupled with terrorist acts, consistently claimed the attention of the world. It is through their vile lies that more than any organization, they have rekindled the ancient virus of Jew Hatred and spread it around the entire world.

RESEARCH OF UN DOCUMENTS CONFIRMS-“PALESTINE” IS A JEW-HATING ANTISEMITIC LIE!

A recent report in Pulse of Israel [Mon, Feb 13, 2023], featured the Israeli author Shai Ben-Tekoa, who was hired by the Israeli government to investigate UN voting patterns. He discovered that there is no mention of the “Palestinians” until 1970!

Shai has published a book titled: THE PHANTOM NATION: INVENTING THE PALESTINIANS AS THE OBSTACLE TO PEACE

Then throw in Israel’s recent elections with America expressing blatant dissatisfaction with the fact that Itamar Ben Gvir was elected, let alone dared to walk on Temple Mount!

Who the actual heck asked them? Add that to the boiling pot. Oh, and let us not forget that the extreme left and the extreme right have nothing in common. Except for one thing: Jew Hatred! They have that in common.

Just recently four ‘friendly’ European countries concurred with Blinken, the Secretary of State of the United States, and issued a joint statement opposing Israel’s move to create 10,000 more housing units in their so-called ‘occupied’ settlements. In this, they are taking a blatantly anti-Israel stance in support of the Palestinian Terrorist Authority, who have been murdering innocent Israeli civilians by the dozens recently. All of this is in support of the stone-dead Oslo Accord peace deal, which died a death several decades ago, simply because the only peace the Palestinian Authority will EVER support is the death of every Israeli citizen. These hypocritical Western nations remind me of an awesome prophecy in ISAIAH 9:21 which addresses the two sons of Joseph, that is, Manasseh and Ephraim:

Manasseh shall devour Ephraim and Ephraim Manasseh; TOGETHER THEY SHALL BE AGAINST JUDAH.”

The demonic hatred of Jews is getting worse and worse day by day. And Jews are being beaten in the streets! It will not be long now before Jews will get slaughtered in the streets of our cities.

Hillel Huld’s common sense advice is: AMERICAN JEWS, get out now!

P.S. It might be good advice for Jews elsewhere too!

Prayer Targets

Target #1: Pray into Isaiah 49:22-23:

Thus says the Lord God:
“Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations,
And set up My standard for the peoples;
They shall bring your sons in their arms,
And your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders;
Kings shall be your foster fathers,
And their queens your nursing mothers;
They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth,
And lick up the dust of your feet.
Then you will know that I am the LORD
For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.”

Abba, we cry out to you and ask that you would move upon hearts of Jews in America who are at risk, who are becoming targets of hate crimes. Abba, please move upon their heart and may their hearts turn to the land of Israel. May they begin to take steps steps to make Aliyah and return home to the land. Abba, may we help them get there!

Putting action “feet” to your prayers: Below are two organizations that you can donate to, which helps Jews to make Aliyah to the land of Israel:

Bring the Jews Home (Aliyah)

Aliyah Return Center

Target #2: Pray into Psalm 18:47-48:

It is God who avenges me,
And subdues the peoples under me;
He delivers me from my enemies.
You also lift me up above those who rise against me;
You have delivered me from the violent man.

Abba, we ask for your divine protection for the precious Jewish people throughout the nations, in Paris, London, New York, on college campuses. We ask for your protection for them in the biblical heartland of Israel (Shomron, Samaria, aka West Bank), and in Jerusalem. Abba, our heart is grieved that there has been a 900% increase in Jewish deaths in Israel since the Biden regime funded the PLO with a billion dollars. We ask that the monies to the PLO would be SHUT DOWN! We ask that you protect and preserve Jewish lives in the land of Israel!
