February 2020 Prayer Theme

By Hildegard Schneider

In Acts 2, we read about how all the disciples were all gathered together in Jerusalem (at ONE place) for Shavuot (at ONE time) and they were all in ONE accord. Would you like to have been there when the Holy Spirit was poured out in power… with wind and fire? After Yeshua ascended to heaven from the Mount of Olives, the men from Galilee went back to Jerusalem to the upper chamber of the house, where they used to hold meetings with the disciples.

Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey. And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples[fn] (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty…Acts 1:12-15

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Acts 2:1

Would you have like to be have been there when Solomon dedicated the Temple….and then the glory of God fell?

And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions), and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments and harps, and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets—indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying:

For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.  2 Chronicles 5: 11-14

The exciting thing is this:  you are now one of almost 120 in Yeshua‘s Torah House.  I cannot tell the exact number of brothers and sister praying, but it seems to be almost 120. In any case, we are moving towards 120.

And the 120 in the days of Acts and the 120 priests at the dedication of the Temple under Solomon had one thing in common:

They were all together at ONE place and at ONE time.

They unanimously lifted up prayer, they blew the trumpets,  and they could be heard praising and thanking YHWH.

What about us?

We meet unanimously in ONE place: in the Torah House of the heavenlies!
We meet unanimously at ONE time: on Friday nights, Erev Shabbat at 9pm

We continously are in prayer in Yeshua’s Torah House.

We sound the shofar

We praise and we thank YHWH.

We have an understanding in unity that the Torah is YHWH‘s conditions of alliance for us.

Be aware that you are called by YHWH up to a circle of 120. This is a basic circle.
Be a part of this 120 in the Torah House and in prayer.

Let us pray that we will reach this number of 120. Since not everyone registers or sometimes only the leaders of the Shabbat circles, I cannot know the exact number. But from those who have registered, I know that we are more than 110.

Starting from this basis, we expect His actions to fall upon the earth in great glory.  He will  add more persons praying. Let us pray that YHWH will appoint coordinators and praying members in each country.

Moses and the 10 Commandments: Photo credit: Freebibleimages.com

Moses lived for 120 years. His life can be divided into 3 phases of 40 years.
He spent the first 40 years of his life in Egypt, where he learned about his calling to liberate the children of Israel.

He spent the second 40 years of his life in the wilderness. It was here Moses was chosen.

The third forty years of Moses’ life was when he faithfully led the children of Israel through that  same wilderness.

We find the same sequence of words in the book of Revelation 17:14:
“These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”

Let us be faithful in our calling, in being chosen and in being set apart!

Here is another thought: I heard an audio from a Brazilian sister who got a great revelation from Yeshua. That’s what she called it herself. She saw an angel above the clouds holding something in his hand. An ancient roll of gold. The angel was very big. She heard a voice saying: the 10 commandments, trumpets … Tell my people of the 10 commandments because they don’t keep them. She didn’t understand that in depth.

Another sister said that she didn’t even know what the 10 commandments were. Think about it!

Here is a scripture to ponder and pray into:

Psalm 133:

A Song of Ascents. Of David.

Behold, how good and how pleasant
it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the LORD commanded the blessing—
Life forevermore.

Here is another scripture to meditate on and pray into: Ephesians 4: 1-5

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, ndeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you  all.
