When the Greater Exodus Begins, What is the Gathering Place for the Exiles of Israel?

By Hildegard Schneider

Biblical history is not linear, but is cyclical in nature. We cannot understand it as if it is finished, behind us and something new will happen in the future, but historical events repeat again and again. They are a prophetic blueprint for the future.

To put it another way, the corresponding spirit that lies behind certain biblical events which manifests itself over and over again.

“What has been will be again,  what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.“ Ecclesiastes 1:9, NIV

Biblical history is also deeply prophetic because of its cyclical nature. Without this understanding and without the basis of Torah, many come to completely false conclusions, especially regarding end-time prophetic events.

Since Mainstream Christianity describes the Torah as no longer relevant for us, they also do not understand this principle mentioned above and therefore also have no understanding about the second Greater Exodus that will happen at the end of days.

YHWH’s people were brought into the wilderness on eagles’ wings and will be brought into the wilderness again at the end of days on eagles‘ wings… because the cycle repeats itself!

A review of the biblical record shows us that it was always through the desert that the children of Israel entered the Promised Land: Abraham moves from Ur in Mesopotamia on the lower Euphrates to today’s Syrian-Turkish border.

The  Israelites also went through the desert to the Promised Land. The Promised Land is a firm and everlasting covenant, as it is written:

Then YHVH appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land.” And there he built an altar to YHVH, who had appeared to him. Genesis 12:7, NKJV

And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces. On the same day YHVH made a covenant with Abram, saying: “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates.
Genesis 15:17-18, NKJV

And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. “Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” Genesis 17:7-8, NKJV

God’s people are told to “come out of her my people“ (Revelation 18:4). For those who choose not to bow to the globalist VAXX mandates, YHVH‘s people are already in the process of leaving the Babylonian system. The believers who are no longer part of the system will be led by His Ruach HaKodesh. Since they no longer have a part in the system, they will either die as martyrs or…. be led out on the Greater Exodus and return to the Promised Land.

The Greater Exodus to Come

The prophet Jeremiah foretells about the Greater Exodus an the end of days, as it is written in Jeremiah 23:7-8:

Therefore, behold, the days are coming,” says YHVH, “that they shall no longer say, ‘As YHVH lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘As YHVH lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country and from all the countries where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell in their own land.”

As we read in the prophet Isaiah, the two houses, the house of Israel and the house of Judah, will be brought back together again hand-in-hand:

He will set up a banner for the nations,
And will assemble the outcasts of Israel,
And gather together the dispersed of Judah
From the four corners of the earth.
Isaiah 11:12 (NKJV)

‘Thus says YHVH: “Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.”’ And the sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.

“Then say to them, ‘Thus says YHVH: “Surely I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; “and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever be divided into two kingdoms again. Ezekiel 37:19-22, (NKJV)

Great blessings will be poured out upon them:

Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart,
And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off;
Ephraim shall not envy Judah,
And Judah shall not harass Ephraim.
But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west;
Together they shall plunder the people of the East;
They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab;
And the people of Ammon shall obey them.
Isaiah 11: 13-14 (NKJV)

What is the Gathering Place for the Exiles of Israel?

The great question is this: At the end of days, where will YHWH lead the house of Israel (the non-Jews) and the house of Judah, (the Jews) who are still scattered among the nations?

The Book of Revelation tells us that they will be led into a wilderness place:

But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. Revelation 12:14 (NJKV)

The woman represents biblical Zion at the end of days. It clearly states here, that she  will be led into the wilderness to a specific place. This statement uses the language that has also been used in the Exodus account. This again indicates the cyclical nature of the event.

“You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.“ Exodus 19:4

And where did YHVH bring his people? To the wilderness!

You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. For they had departed from Rephidim, had come to the Wilderness of Sinai, and camped in the wilderness. So, Israel camped there before the mountain. Exodus 19:1-2, (NKJV)

This also speaks of a single desert.

And what will it be like at the end of days? Which desert will his people pass through?

There is much speculation around this subject. There are commentators who say that the remnant of his people would be led into the wilderness of the nations.

By this you mean that each nation has its own desert, so to speak. Even if nations do not actually have their own deserts, it is speculated that areas of land will be destroyed to such an extent that they can then be called deserts.

Yet it is clearly said that the woman flees into the desert… there is talk here of only one desert, not multiple deserts.

Where will YHVH Gather Those Who Go on the Greater Exodus?

But the big question is, where will YHWH gather those who go on the Greater Exodus? Perhaps Isaiah gives us a clue:

And it shall come to pass in that day that YHVH will thresh,
From the channel of the River to the Brook of Egypt;
And you will be gathered one by one,
O you children of Israel.
Isaiah 27:12, NKJV

So, we see that it could be the region from the river Euphrates to the brook of Egypt.

Today, the Euphrates River flows through the states of Turkey, Syria and Iraq. The catchment area of the Euphrates is 765,831 km². The actual Euphrates only begins at the confluence of its two major headwaters, the Karasu and the Murat near Keban. Both headwaters rise in the Inner Taurus Mountains in eastern Turkey. The water level of the Euphrates is at its lowest in September and rises to its highest level by May.

The phrase “brook of Egypt” occurs in Numbers 34:5:

From Azmon the boundary will turn toward the Brook of Egypt and end at the Mediterranean Sea. (NLT)

YHVH speaks of a wilderness place where He will bring His people in the end of days during the great tribulation and the Greater Exodus.
This is spoken of in Ezekiel 20:33-36:

“As I live,” says YHVH, “surely with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, I will rule over you. “I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out.

“And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will plead My case with you face to face. “Just as I pleaded My case with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will plead My case with you,” says YHVH.

The prophet Ezekiel also speaks here of a desert, namely the „desert of the nations“.

If we take all these lands of Turkey, Syria and Iraq up to the brook of Egypt, then we know that there will be enough room for the called-out ones, for the remnant. The brook of Egypt is a border river between Egypt and Israel and is therefore identified with the Wadi al-Arish.  Could this be the area that YHWH calls the “desert of the nations“?

YHVH will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt;
With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over the River,
And strike it in the seven streams,
And make men cross over dryshod.
There will be a highway for the remnant of His people
Who will be left from Assyria,
As it was for Israel
In the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.
Isaiah 11:15-16

Be amazed! He leads his people again to the sea-tongue of Egypt! What is meant by the sea-tongue of Egypt? The people of the Israelites were there once before:

By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned. Heb. 11:29, NKJV

Or as the scriptures tell us in Psalm 106:9:

He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it dried up;
So He led them through the depths,
As through the wilderness.

YHWH will once again lead the two houses through the Red Sea! History will repeat itself!

And what we have just read here will take place. Let’s listen again to Isaiah 11:

YHVH will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt;
With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over the River,
And strike it in the seven streams,
And make men cross over dryshod.
There will be a highway for the remnant of His people
Who will be left from Assyria,
As it was for Israel
In the day that he came up from the land of Egypt.
Isaiah 11:15-16, NKJV

Those of us who are called on the Greater Exodus will end up walking dry-shod through the sea-tongue of Egypt once again! Which proves that biblical history IS prophecy!

And it shall come to pass in that day
that YHVH will thresh,
From the channel of the River to the Brook of Egypt;
And you will be gathered one by one,
O you children of Israel.
Isaiah 27:12

What is the gathering place?

Assur is understood to mean Mesopotamia. In ancient times, the Assyrians lived in central and northern Mesopotamia, which is present-day Iraq and parts of Turkey.

Again we find confirmed here that the great gathering place is Turkey, Syria and Iraq all the way to Egypt.

Destination: Where are the exiles of Israel going?

What else is said about the exiles who will be gathered?

So it shall be in that day:
The great trumpet will be blown;
They will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria,
And they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt,
And shall worship YHVH in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
Isaiah 27:13

Surely this means that those who come from the land of Assyria and Egypt are on their way TO Jerusalem! May we all see each other face to face…in Jerusalem!

Prayer Targets

*Help us, dear Father, to prepare for the exodus even now by leaving the pull of the world. Help us now to “come out of her, my people“. Thank you for helping us to do this even now through the pandemic.

*Help us to start praying now for us to be found worthy to be part of the remnant who are called to be on the Greater Exodus journey

*Help us to listen,understand and discern when the time of departure comes. (Hint: the first exodus happened at Passover, so the final exodus will likely happen at a future Passover).

*Help us to recognize and then get ready to journey on the path of return to Israel!

*Give us grace that we may also take others with us on the Greater Exodus journey. May our loved ones be willing to leave when it is time to go. May we pray for them now that their eyes will be opened to this truth and that their hearts will be made ready to go!

  1. I think there are at least 2 groups accessing Israel. Geographically Israel can be accessed via the Mediterranean Sea by ship ie sail past the island of Cyprus, or sail up the Gulf of Eilat. Also by land – if you are the other side of the Red Sea and have no boat or not enough, that means the Red Sea needs to dry up again – or if you wish to access By Syria or Lebanon, but are the other side of the River Euphrates, that needs to dry up first. Makes no sense to try to get to Egypt, if your destination is Israel, and you are coming from the North (as incidentally Abraham did also) and trying to get to Israel from that direction. The Assyrian Empire, when they captured and dispersed the house of Israel also held part of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

  2. Very interesting;So are we to start moving there, or will HE bring us there at that time?? Todah Rabah Hildegard
