July 2020 Prayer Theme

We have just reached the halfway point through 2020. Yet from the time we woke up on January 1 to now, the whole world has changed. The Corona Virus pandemic brought global change to the entire planet. The draconian government responses to coronavirus crippled their own economies – and the rights their citizens thought they had. No sooner did the prospect of our enforced “Lockdown” come to an end, that the world witnesses the outbreak of protests, rioting, looting, burning and violence in scores of American cities. We have seen this virus of rebellion and hatred spreading also to other nations around the world. Those rioters are united in hatred – united not in what they want to build, but in what they want to tear down. They are tearing down the principle of individual rights, rule of law, the police, even the actual structure of family, such as the relationship between male and female, even the existence of male and female. If ever there was an anti-Christ movement – this is it, as what they are targeting are the last few remaining remnants of our former and fast-fading Bible based heritage.

Where does this revolution of hatred come from?

We are facing a spirit of hate produced by a completely enraged spirit – Satan the Devil himself, as it is written in Revelations 12:9, 12:

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth.“Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows he has a short time.”

Evil is real – Satan is real, but so is God!

How can you replace fear with courage? BELIEVE AND FEAR AND OBEY GOD! We have been given a place of refuge.

“We might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an ANCHOR OF THE SOUL, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil.” Hebrews 6:18b-19

Without God we are helpless and hopeless. But with God we become fearless! Be brave, be solid, be tough, be of good courage & be not afraid.

“Then Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage, for thus the LORD will do to all your enemies against whom you fight.”  Joshua 10:25.

Fight fear with faith!
