I am preparing you for the journey to come. You will be going on a long, arduous journey.
While you are sheltering in, this is your season of REST to PREPARE for the journey.
Just as a racehorse rests in his stall the night before the race…
Just as the football team eats a big spaghetti dinner the night before the game…
Just as a pregnant woman goes into “nesting” mode just before she gives birth to her baby…
REST NOW.
Take stock, take inventory of your supplies that you will need for the journey.
Establish and deepen strategic relationships.
Establish strategic communications.
Get your heart prepared.
Take time now to get through any grief and loss associated to the coronavirus crisis. Get through that grief now.
And then…set your face like flint. Follow hard after me. Obey me and follow my Torah.
Get ready! Get ready! Get ready! For I am about to pour forth my wrath and my glory upon the earth.
Be still, wait upon me.
But, when the time is right, be ready to MOVE and FOLLOW me.
Be in a LISTENING mode. Listen to my word. Listen to my spirit.
LISTEN to me. LISTEN to my still small quiet voice.
Do not be afraid. Be still. Stand still and see the salvation of the LORD.
I am about to do great things upon the earth.
Allowing the coronavirus to happen is only the opening act.
This is to humble you, to show you that I am LORD over all peoples, tribes and nations.
I am LORD over all the earth.
I am in the process of taking down Babylonian structures. I am taking down idols. I am stripping the nations of these things. I am preparing to cleanse and salt the earth, so I can set up my kingdom here on the earth.
Even as a baby rests quietly and trustingly in the arms of its daddy, you are to rest quietly and trustingly like a baby in my arms:
LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child. Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.Psalm 131:1-3
